MPB1 is a multi-purpose production facility, engaged in the manufacture of Pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals.

The principle equipment comprises:

  • Nine glass lined vessels of 2.25m³, 4.5m³ and 9m³ capacity
  • One Hastelloy vessel of 7.2m³ capacity
  • Photochlorination/bromination reactor
  • Semi bulk chlorine installation
  • Hastelloy Wiped Film Evaporator

Vessel heating and cooling is by means of dedicated temperature control modules using an inert heat transfer medium.

The facility operates on a continuous basis with a dedicated shift operator/supervisory team and associated building management.

 

MPB2 is a multi-purpose production facility, engaged in the manufacture of Pharmaceutical intermediates and fine chemicals.

It is the largest of the four manufacturing buildings on site and the principle equipment comprises:

  • Nineteen glass lined vessels of 4.5m³ and 9m³ capacity
  • Five hastelloy vessels of 4.5m³ and 9m³ capacity
  • Two centrifuges (Hastelloy Heinkel & Halar lined Broadbent models)
  • 4m² Stainless steel Rosenmund pressure filter
  • Two glass lined cone driers
  • Three stainless steel Buss driers up to 9 m³ capacity

MPB3 is a multi-purpose production facility used in the manufacture of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) and Fine Chemicals.

Production can be carried out in manual or using a written recipe (Siemens Process Control System SIMATIC PCS7).

The principle equipment comprises:

  • Two 20m³ Alloy 59 vessels
  • One 20m³ Glass lined vessel
  • One 10m³ Glass lined vessel
  • Eight receivers Glass lined 10 & 20m³ of which some have stirrers and are jacketed (control temperature)
  • Four headers 2250lts – 5000lts glass lined and alloy 59 of which some have stirrers and are jacketed
  • 6m² Stainless steel Rosenmund pressure filter
  • Halar lined centrifuge with a discharge/reslurry facility
  • Purified water plant

The above equipment is installed over four floors. Vessel heating and cooling is by means of independant dedicated temperature control modules using an inert heat transfer medium.
